Planning an order

Ordering for a wedding or another fixed date

Order at least three weeks before the day the dress will be worn. Delivery takes 9 to 12 business days after the order date, and even the slowest case without holidays arrives within 19 calendar days. On the calendar: an order placed Monday, Oct 19, 2026 before 4:00 PM Eastern Time arrives between Friday, Oct 30 and Wednesday, Nov 4. The Shipping Policy has the full timeline.

Choosing between two sizes

Each listing has its own size chart in inches, in the Description tab, and the Size Guide shows how to measure and how to read it. Compare the chart with a dress that fits well, measured flat. A size that turns out wrong counts as a change of mind, so the shopper pays the return postage, and asking customer service first costs nothing.

Shipping outside the delivery map

No. Horizon Picks’ carriers deliver only to a street address within the 48 contiguous states plus Washington, DC, and the checkout map stops there. Checkout won’t take an order bound for Hawaii or Alaska, and customer service cancels and refunds any order that slips through to Puerto Rico, another territory, a PO Box, or APO, FPO, or DPO military mail.

Seeing the full price before paying

Checkout shows the dresses, the shipping line ($5.90 under $39.00, $0.00 at $39.00 or more), and sales tax where a state requires it, all before the payment button. No other fee is added, and nothing is collected at the door.

Expecting the dress

Tracking a dress coming from China

The dispatch email with the tracking number arrives 2 to 3 business days after the order date. The first scan can take up to 3 business days to show online, and scans often pause while the shipment crosses to the US. Order status inside Horizon Picks is on the Order Tracking page.

Receiving part of an order

An order with several dresses can arrive in separate shipments, each with its own tracking number. Splitting costs nothing extra, and each shipment keeps to the 9 to 12 business day range.

Paying anything at the door

No. Import duties and customs fees are paid before the shipment enters the United States, and the carrier collects nothing on delivery.

Changing the address or cancelling

Email or call customer service within 12 hours of placing the order. Cancelling brings the whole amount back within 2 business days. After 12 hours the order is with the partner, and the dress can be returned after it arrives.

Sending a dress back

Returning a dress that doesn’t fit

The window is 30 days from delivery, the reason doesn’t matter, and a size swap counts the same as a change of heart. For a change of mind the shopper pays the international postage to the return address, the restocking fee is $0.00, and the refund covers the dress price. The Refund and Returns Policy walks through each step.

Finding the return address

The address comes in the authorization email, sent within 1 business day of the request. Returns go to the fulfillment partner’s return facility in China, never to the Roanoke business address.

Getting a damaged or wrong dress

Send photos within 14 days of delivery. Horizon Picks decides within 2 business days and sends a replacement or a full refund, shipping fee included. The dress usually stays with the shopper.

Waiting for a refund

The refund is sent within 7 business days of the dress reaching the return address, to the original payment method. The bank or PayPal then needs 3 to 10 business days to show it.

Swapping for another size

There’s no direct swap. Return the first dress for a refund and place a new order, which ships right away on the normal schedule.

Paying for it

Using PayPal, Apple Pay, or a debit card

PayPal and debit cards both work, and Apple Pay doesn’t. PayPal is one button at checkout, and debit or credit cards on the Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover networks go through the Credit Card option, with Stripe processing each payment. Apple Pay and Google Pay don’t appear at checkout. The Payment Policy lists everything else.

Spotting the charge on a statement

Payment of the full order total, in US dollars, is taken at the moment the order is placed. The merchant name on the statement is set by the card processor and may be shortened, so match it against the amount and date in the confirmation email.
